USPS track & confirm you are a liar!
After reading some forums at eBay I can now tell that my Asus eee is in the customs office here in Spain. The status at Correos has been “en tramitación” since the 26th of February, so I must wait for a letter to arrive in my mailbox telling me that I have to pay 16% IVA and a handling fee.
It’s not about the money but about the fact that some of my friends got their eee in less than 10 days and I’ve been waiting for it for almost a month now and im sure it wont arrive soon.
USPS track & confirm said that they tried to deliver it to me te 4th of this month and they lied.
Who should I trust? Where is my bloody laptop?

I checked the USPS track & confirm site again and this is what i got:

Which is completely FALSE. I was home and noone came, plus there was no notification in the mailbox.
At Correos, the status is still “En tramitación“, and has been like that since the 26th…
Can my adress be wrong? I’ve ordered tons of things at eBay and never changed my paypal adress. This is damn strange.
Another day I don’t go to class for a damn gadget…

It’s 4th of March and I still don’t have my laptop. What should I do? I can’t miss more classes!
I know I shouldn’t leave negative feedback to the eBay seller but if I had ordered it from qbit or any other online store it would have been the same! Correos, you are the worst company i’ve ever worked with.
I’m leaving town in a few hours so if it doesn’t arrive I’ll have to wait until Friday.
Think again before bidding at eBay next time. In a month a lot of things can change…

New Asus Eee 900 - 9 inch screen
I’ve been waiting for my Eee for almost a month and today, a new version of the Eee has been announced. There are some pics all over the internet but I don’t want to be like the other blogs and copy paste the same info everywhere.
I’m writting this post because im pissed off with my postal service here in Spain. Correos just sucks. My Eee has been in Spain since the 26th of February, been in the customs office until 29th and ,because of the weekend in between, it hasn’t arrived to Vigo (my city) yet.
I study 100km away from here but I always come back every Friday (until Sunday) but today is Monday night and i’m still here. I didn’t went to the university because i had the hope it would have arrived during the morning.
It didn’t.
I went to the post office and a chick told me it would arrive tomorrow or the day after…
This is my story, now you know why i’m pissed off.
Plus!, the new Asus Eee 900 will cost $399. If i knew this i wouldnt have ordered mine. But oh well, I guess I’ll change my mind once I have my 701 in my hands, otherwise I’ll sell it to a friend.

According to the usps track & confirm information my Asus Eee arrived at the customs office yesterday.

I still have the hope it bypasses it so that I don’t have to pay the fees. But if it does I still have a B Plan to avoid them…
