Asus Eee PC.

Eee Pc by Asus is a new line of laptops that focuses on providing users with the most comprehensive Internet application based on three Es: Easy to learn, work, play.

Eee pc is a sub notebook computer designed by Asus. It is noted for its combination of lightweight, Linux based operating system, and relatively low cost. RM in the UK also distributes it as RM Asus mini book. Asus derived the name eee from the three Es, which means:

Easy to learn,

Easy to work,

Easy to play.

The latest version of eee pc is eee 900 series. Eee 900 series was officially launched in Hong Kong on April 16, 2008. The eee 900 series dimensions are a little larger than the previous models. The size measures as

Width 225 mm

Depth 165 mm

Height 35mm

Weight 1 kg.

The eee pc 900 series is available in both Linux and Windows XP configurations.

The eee pc uses solid-state drive (SSD) instead of a hard drive. The benefits of the SSD are that the machine consumes less power, boots quickly and less susceptible to mechanical shock damage.

The eee pc is perhaps the cheapest laptop machine. It is of course the smallest in the market. It is extremely lightweight, small size, portability, ease of use and the sleek design makes it extremely popular.

The eee pc has its disadvantages too. Many people regard it as expensive. The motherboards are fewer and more expensive and hard drives are smaller.

However many users have termed the use of eee pc to be quite fun and unlike a usual laptops, and in many ways its a lot different.

Netbooks are great little computers to carry around for quick reference. They are small enough to fit in handbags and backpacks for ultra portability, and powerful enough for blogging, browsing the internet, and taking notes. The ASUS models are a good choice for netbook users, as they are durable, feature over ten hours of battery life, and have an attraction seashell design. This is my ASUS Eee PC 1005HA Netbook review.

These netbooks often have an affordable price, priced at under $400. They feature lots of perks along with a smaller style. I love to take mine to the bookstore when I grab a cup of coffee. It’s the perfect tiny computer for writing down my thoughts, and catching up on my MySpace buddies on the go. The longer battery life means that I can browse all afternoon without having to worry about finding a place to charge my netbook.

The ASUS Eee PC 1005HA Seashell comes loaded with Windows XP, and this operating system is super user friendly, and fairly fast too. I don’t have to wait forever for my applications to load, and the screen display with it’s LED display panel lights up perfectly so that I can see my desktop even when sitting by the window in natural light.

The keyboard is a good size at approximately 92% of a full keyboard, so that it makes typing a breeze. Typing up emails, documents, and information is easily done without skipping keys.

There are adequate ports on this netbook too with three USB 2.0 ports, ethernet port, a 4-in-1 media card reader, headphone and microphone jacks. The headphone jack is particularly great for listening to tunes while taking a long road trip in the passenger seat.

One very interesting feature that I was not expecting with the ASUS Eee PC 1005HA was the Eee Docking software that makes it easy to find all of your utilities, digital content, and software. It’s really convenient. It has Eee Vibe for music and media applications, Sharing for storage, messenger, and data synchronization, Xperience for voice command, and tools for general settings. This convenient little application is docked at the top of the screen, and can be put away when you are not using it.

ASUS has done a great job of creating an affordable netbook with high quality features and performance. It has excellent battery life, great graphics, adequate ports, and comes loaded with a lot of tools and software. The attractive and compact design makes it the perfect computer for people on the go.

Not happy with the 2-3 hours of battery life that you can get from the Eee PC 701 battery? Diggingshop.com is selling a massive 10400mAh asus laptop battery that should provide enough juice for 6+ hours of use.

The battery for asus eee pc should work with most first and second generation Eee PC units, including the Eee PC 701 and Eee PC 900. It will not fit the Eee PC 901 or 1000 series. Oh, and just so you know, not only will the asus eee pc battery stick out of the back of your device a bit, it weighs a whopping 16.05 ounces. That’s right, the battery alone weighs more than a pound, which is quite a bit when you consider the fact that the Eee PC itself weighs just over 2 pounds.

The eee pc battery pack is selling for $82.49 with fast shipping, which is a rather remarkable price. Perhaps even too good to be true? If you’ve ever ordered from www.diggingshop.com, let us know about your experiences in the comments.

Capacity: 10400mAh / 8-Cell Voltage : 7.4V Color : White OR Black Product Type: Replacement Battery Type: Lithium ion Full 1 year warranty Price: $ 82.49

Fit Model:
