Specs include: Intel Atom Z520 1.33GHz CPU, 1GB DDR2 RAM, 32GB SSD, Intel GMA 500 graphics, 802.11b/g wifi, bluetooth 2.1, and Windows 7 Home Premium. THere are two things I don’t fancy about it: The Z520 CPU and the $530 price tag.

A stylish Eee pc netbook model is appear. Designed by Karim Rashid, this high-fashion netbook which called Asus Eee PC 1008P comes in a glossy with crocodile motif skin. The Asus Eee PC 1008P will be available in chocolate brown and hot pink color options. Regarding hardware specs, 1008P is similar to Eee PC 1008HA.

Beside its stylish look, Eee PC 1008P also offer a slide-out battery and looks cleaner where its rare used ports are hided. The ethernet jack hide behind a door and its VGA port is attached to a mini-USB cable. (Cheap VGP-BPS9A/B 11.1V,9 cell 6 cell Laptop Batteries, battery for SONY VGP-BPS9A/B)

The New Year is just around the corner when Intel traditionally launches its new chip line-up for the year. However, that hasn’t stopped the Asus Eee PC 1008P being leaked online packing what is believed to the the Intel Atom N450 – next gen netbook processor. Find out more about the Asus Eee PC 1008P after the jump…

The Asus Eee PC 1008P is very much a netbook in the standard roll and builds on the success of the Asus Eee PC Seashell 1005HA. It comes with a 10.1-inch screen with 1024 x 600 pixels, 160GB hard drive and 1024MB of memory. That’s all well and good but from the report that’s popped up online, this netbook may well be the first to sport the Intel Atom N450 processor. http://www.cheap-laptop-batteries.com/laptop-battery/sony-vgp-bpl9.htm

The Intel Atom N450 on the Asus Eee PC 1008P will have a clock speed of 1.66GHz, which puts it in line with the current Atom crop. However, this 45nm chip delivers dual-core performance but with a power output of only 6.5watts. So, while we won’t see much more in the way of grunt, it’ll handle twice the apps a current netbook can handle

With a new sleeker design and up to 11 hours of battery life rating, our affordable, super-compact mini NB305 is a stylish companion PC that raises the bar when it comes to portability. This innovative netbook lets you enjoy all the benefits of today’s fast-moving digital world, putting you in touch with your favorite people, sites, networks and media in ways and places you never imagined. Though small enough to throw in a purse or bag, it’s designed with smart features to enhance your mobile life—like a full-sized keyboard and touchpad, USB Sleep-and-Charge technology and a Hard Drive Impact Sensor that helps protect your data from the bumps and grinds of daily life. So it picks up where smart phones leave off and makes many of today’s netbooks seem a waste of time.

I just got back from my first trip with this little computer. With such a long battery life I checked the cords in with my luggage, never brought them out! The computer, in it case, went through security in it’s case with no problems. It was light to carry and very easy to use. The screen, with all the ads was a bit small, but doable.

This is a great netbook for someone who doesn’t want the weight and bulk of a laptop. I did upgrade my memory to 2gb and it was very easy to do. Also have purchased the Toshiba Portable Multi Drive so I can now burn CD’s and load programs into my netbook. All this fits nicely into the Targus Sport bag.
