Since there are not many reviews out there I have made one, my Ubisurfer broke after 3 hours of use, and there are lots of problems with the software and hardware listed in the video. The Asus Eee PC 1008P is very much a netbook in the standard roll and builds on the success of the Asus Eee PC Seashell 1005HA. It comes with a 10.1-inch screen with 1024 x 600 pixels, 160GB hard drive and 1024MB of memory. I just got back from my first trip with this little computer. With such a long battery life I checked the cords in with my luggage, never brought them out! The computer, in it case, went through security in it’s case with no problems. It was light to carry and very easy to use. The screen, with all the ads was a bit small, but doable.

This is a great netbook for someone who doesn’t want the weight and bulk of a laptop. I did upgrade my memory to 2gb and it was very easy to do. Also have purchased the Toshiba Portable Multi Drive so I can now burn CD’s and load programs into my netbook. All this fits nicely into the Targus Sport bag.
