  1. PromotionalEdmonton

    @MarsCandyBar I paid $500 Canadian

@misfitwrx It handles netflix video full screen very well. I was using Firefox but had maybe too many plugins active. Switched to watching Netflix on Chrome and it works great.

  3. Finally, I think you are the first person to give me a straight up answer to that question.. That’s good to hear because I also want to run NHL gamecenter which is just like NBA TV I’m assuming. Sounds like this is exactly what I am looking for (I wanted a touchscreen pc for my toolbox at work to watch NHL games and Netflix, but the “all In one” pcs are all a little to large)

  4. @misfitwrx Hi, this will handle 720p YouTube vids and perhaps it may run 1080p videos as long as you keep it plugged in. As for Netflix i have not tested Netflix on here but i did test NBA TV on here which seemed to work fine.

  5. Quick question on the duo, I plan on buying one in the next few days, I was wondering when it’s plugged in and on Max performance battery settings (I am not concerned about bat life because the way I plan on using this it will almost always be plugged in) will this thing handle 720p YouTube in full screen? And also have you tested Netflix streaming on it?

  6. @t377y000 It does have bluetooth, the battery is not removable and the RAM and HDD could be changed but i have not done any modifications to this so i dont know.

  7. you know if it has bluetooth, hdmi port, removable battery, & replaceable ram & hdd?

  8. @bsacco64 he said 500 pounds and is because its their currency

  9. There is also the amazon AppStore to download apps. I have heard that you can plug in Android 2.2 but am unsure of the details surrounding it. Nice review.

  10. @MarsCandyBar correct… :D

  11. @bsacco64 Im just guessing, but I think he meant the price is 500 pounds.

  12. use the app store on google chrome

  13. You said 500 pounds! It better not be that heavy

  14. @hum901 thanks ill definitely look into that :)

  15. @valeymonster Your best bet is just to use a 3rd party camera program, they are free and work alot better. But if it the camera is not being detected then check the drivers. Hope this helps…

  16. how do you access the camera? i can get it to work :/ thanks

  17. @abhishekrdesai there a solution to having longer battery life to 6-8 hours. buy the Energizer XP18000

  18. @hum901 you think this is useful for a physics or math class?

  19. Andriod on the Duo? That would just kill it. And no, an iOS can’t be put on a PC.

  20. seems very un-responsive and thats not just on this video seen the official launch video and it was even doing it then. it also seems slow in loading apps and commands?? not so sure this would be a buy to go for but general concept is realy good. just seems it needs work.

  21. Is that the name of the laptop written on your hand?

    Haha

  22. @abhishekrdesai its ok… not brilliant. Dell say that it will do close to 4 hours but in the real world you would be lucky to get it to 3 hours if that

  23. how is the battery life?

  24. @jessicawazhere Should be able to… May not be able to run some CS5 features because of the lack of discrete graphics.

  25. @mageman610 itunes ran smoothly because of the Intel Atom cpu… the Inspirion Duo can run programs very well…
