Very nice video… BUT you forgot to remove the battery while you did the mod. I was a little surprised it booted at all. I was much less surprised to hear you say “Just start… Why do you always break?” But, if you can do it I can do it so thanks!!
yeah dude that is what I mean I can twist my screen 180 degrees and then clode the lid so the screen is on top of the keyboard. I’ll make a vid to show you exactly how it works. In the vid above there are 2 connecters that connect the screen and the bottom keyboard/motherboard. I replace both the connecters with one connector in the middle that can swivel. But the thing is the one in the middle is huge like 2-3″ thickness.
definately a cool gimmick but propably not very useful for serious use such as design or photoshop – cause you can swivle the screen. the keybord will always be in the way!
Wrong! I think, I will! And if the screen is getting to small, I can plug in my 19″ TFT
But why are so many people talking about a 7″ screen. I only can find Eee PCs with a 8.9″ oder 10.2″ screen. =/ But that’s enough, when I’m not at home. =)
@crunkss i think we have ourselves an Apple Fanboy here.
damn youuu!!!!!!! aaaaaaa i want touch screen for my EEE!!!!!

graphic designers would never in a million years use an eee pc, or -any- pc, with touch screen or without
I DID remove the battery while doing the mod
The motherboard wasn’t actually in the chassis while I did the mod

where did you get the touch screen from?
Touch Screen PC is just too cool.
OT. How did you create/print the sticker? That’s very nice…
sweet man! but a vid would be awesome! I know what you mean, it’s like my hp tx2650eg

i meant swiveling the screen itself, so that you can flip it onto the keyboard!
But as I said already – very nice
well i installed a swivel mod but the screen is still normal so you have to hold it upside down. I use photoshop
the 7″ was on the eee 700 which is the netbook in the video. the eee 901 which is what you find these days has 8.9 and 10.1-10.2.
isnt that the eee 701?
Nice

Otherwise definatley cool!
wtf is that annoying klick klock in the background?
My posting was an answer to AtMoo. I don’t know why I can’t place a posting under that post that I want to answer o_o

can the eee still close properly after installing the touch screen or is there a gap?
