A few things to note: I installed a new operating system using a bootable flash drive due to lack of CD / DVD-ROM drive (you know, that no basic flash drive bootable). Also, when I was installing new operating system, was 4 partition the HDD. Two partitions were installed in the storage space allocated to fund programs / data storage, etc., but there is 10 GB and 17 MB of hard disk partitions, which is my understanding containing the recovery files. Safe, just leave them alone in the partitions.
