  1. GreenCoffeeMonster

Can you upgrade the ram, hard drive, CPU?

  2. @minipcpro OK, so it was 10.4″ and not 10.1″ – big deal. It was a C113tci.

  3. @tubekolla there is no Acer Travelmate with 10.1″ display, sorry. Netbooks are all about 10-inch in these days but i agree with you, there would be a market for 8.9-inch

  4. The netbook is dead – this is just a small laptop.

I had an Acer Travelmate with 10.1″ display earlier, and noone claimed that it was a “netbook”. I now have an EeePC 901 and would love to upgrade, but I dont see myself moving to 10.1″ with worse resolution, for the moment I dont see anything to upgrade to. I just wish ASUS could make an 8.9″ model with Pine View CPU, and bring back the concept that made netbooks cool to begin with.

  5. Put Linux on it, I bet it’s faster.

  6. TheMowingking

cant you just add more ram to m,ake it go faster

  7. I like the fact that computer makers are finally moving away from the glossy finishes.

  8. @t0i0n0a i just had the option when i booted it up for the first time

  9. how do you change the operating system to english??
    thanks so much!

  10. how do you change the operating system to english??
    thanks so much!

  11. @Otacon421 there are 2 different versions. In Europe and Asia it ships with Windows 7 HP

  12. This ships with Windows 7 starter and starter does not support multi touch. Install 7HP or better to get better performance and multitouch.

  13. @j0kerowner make sure to not buy the Windows 7 starter edition one. it really sucks. the 7 HP is fine

  14. Do you think this pc is worfth buying if it comes with windows 7 home premium or should i buy something else?

  15. @j0kerowner yes, it comes with this stylus pen

  16. umm does the pen come with the pc and if not did u buy some special pc touchscreen pen or just some normal pen :D ?

  17. no offense but i would go with the dell mini 10v! i mean the one i got, its a intel atom n270 clocked @ 1.66GHZ with xp(i later installed 7) and it was running fast out of the box! even with all that *beeping* dell preinstalled crap! again no offense and i NOT trying to be mean.

  18. Do u have rewview or demonstration how to install SSD and how much faster does it work after that. I want to buy a tablet pc. For me COST and SPEED are important, i know I cannot get both of them at the same time, but i can try to get the best possible solutions. I like this laptop, but if its slow i do not want to buy it. I am just going to do web surfing and documenting stuff, no games etc. So i need the speed to do only documents, presentation etc.

  19. looks nice but i heard it is not a capicitive touch so finger swipe is sluggest and crappy according another video review that demo the finger swipe.

  20. @DJTEVAdotCOM do i really need to answer this comment? Yes i need to. Sweety, how about taking a look at the title? It says UNBOXING and FIRST IMPRESSIONS. not review at all.

  21. bad review…u should show more finger gestures…can it do 2 fingers touch…pinch??….

  22. Shows promise. How does it work with drawing?

And I wonder how good the screen is.

I guess it will be possible to get some kind of faster OS on this. Most should support touch, but I wonder about interchangeability of touch functions. I guess wait and see.

Most of my stuff is on the web so the smallest SSD would be good, I cant understand why computers like this are still pushing memory.

Anyway I enjoyed your review We all have appointments,,,and Christmas” LOL

  23. @dirtylicious it flies now… i did a complete fresh installation on a new Kingston SSD Now V 30GB

  24. @minipcpro for the reply back. So after 2 weeks and cleaning up the crapware, has the performance gotten any better?

  25. @pogularocky Technically, it’s an over sized i-pod touch…Not only does it not have hand writing a capabilities but it lacks a lot of possibilities of a computer
