let it gather dust . the disk used for eee are low cosumption and yours will drain the battery
Is there a windows 7 version ??? and a larger hard drive than 160GB?
i have looked and looked cannot find any lol
160GB so far in the 1101HA but im hearing of 250GB models out there… i have yet to seen one in person lol

Me too, but this is how the folks at Asus pronounce it. Every now and again I slip, so you might hear me say it the other way in some videos.
As a general rule, no they don’t have built in disc drives. If you need one, you’ll probably want to pick up a USB DVD burner. There are a small number of 10 and 12 inch laptops that do, but they aren’t very common in small netbooks with Intel Atom processors.

I’ve sorta always wondered this, but just never bothered researching it. Anyway, do Netbooks have DVD drives?

Nope, unfortunately the Eee PC 1005HA has left the building. But I’ll be posting more information and comparisons between this and other laptops at Liliputing.
