this does seem like a very nice mini-laptop. i was asking my dad for a laptop for my birthday but i was worried the 11.6 inch screen might not be big enough. in terms of vision i can see just fine without glasses and all i need a laptop for is web surfing youtube, forums and writing documents.

@ecerizer Yeah, it’s pretty awesome! It’s cute, too. The downfall is the webcam, though. It’s too darn dark and I don’t think you can configure it’s settings. It also comes with Skype pre-installed!
You can always un-install it if you don’t want it.

@ecerizer Well, I got it as a Christmas present, but I’ve seen it at Best Buy for like $339, I think.. I’m not sure because I didn’t really see the price! Hope that helped!

@deutschfun6666 I am wanting to buy either of these netbooks, but im not sure which is better, the 1101ha seems better with most parts sept the 1.33gh is much less so im not sure :S what do you think?
on the top of the 1101 is the “ASUS” sign and on the top of the 1008HA is the “Eee” sign
1008HA is both smaller in size and more slimmer, mainly because it has 10.6inch screen and this 1101 has a 11.6 display
they don’t look really different but 11.6 screen gives you more space for more stuff on the desktop
what’s the difference between the 1008HA and the 1101? is there a difference between the looks?

But the 1101HA comes with the overclockable option, which you can easily choose among 3 modes and can turn it up to 1.7+Ghz. I don´t know why anyone have mentioned this here.
It has LED. So, no big deal!
I´d go for the 1005HA or the 1101HA.
I´d go for the 1005HA or the 1101HA(as you can overclock and it has a better resolution screen). Not the 1008HA.

hi i just bought the both 1005 ha and 1101
the diffents are
firsr of all 100 euro
the 11 has 250 Giga as HD 2 g RAM and the size of the screen is nice
the 10 has 160 GB as HD and 1 GB as ram with small screen which is some how very small to use nevertheless the sound of 10 was much much better than of 11
how mutch was it? and where can i buy it?
