I upgraded the copy of XP to Pro, and love it. It's my development laptop. Of course, if you get the HE, you'll have to upgrade the ram to 2gb. Otherwise, what's the point? ;) I am actually working on saving up some extra to also pick up the HE. I love the EEE pc! I have the 1000H with only the 80gb hdd in it.
