Asus Eee 1000HE – My next netbook?

Thanks to Twitter I think I’m going to go for the Asus Eee 1000 HE. I’ve been reading and watching some videos about it and I think it really is what I need. Here is a video showcasing it’s main specs.

The 1000HE also host the latest Intel ATOM Processor, N280 (1.66 GHz, FSB 667MHz), Intel 945 chipset, allowing faster boot up speed and accessing files faster than before.

I have the 1000H with only the 80gb hdd in it. I upgraded the copy of XP to Pro, and love it. It’s my development laptop. Of course, if you get the HE, you’ll have to upgrade the ram to 2gb. Otherwise, what’s the point? ;)

I am actually working on saving up some extra to also pick up the HE. I love the EEE pc!

Now i have to find the best place to buy it. Probably ebay…

the Google Taiwan’s President has revealed that Android will be the Google OS for netbooks and Asus has confirmed that they’re developing an Android based Eee to be release this year:
