Bought in good faith for its battery life of up to 3 hours - nothing like it. I have other laptops for work so I know how to treat them correctly battery wise.

I haven't disabled the SD as I presume just taking the card out should solve the exit of power????

Hello, I have the battery drain problem (as many others). It drains by about 10% every day, while powered off. Disabling the camera does not help at all. I haven't tried disabling usb and card reader, but I don't think it makes much sense having to enable them everytime you want to use them (Which is most of the time).

The EeePC 900 is just faulty. Yes, I do panic, this shouldn't be happening. ASUS should acknowledge the problem and solve it.
